Roncesvalles Polish Festival Cancelled for 2010

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

As you know, we pulled off a minor miracle in 2009 in mounting our fifth and largest Festival in the midst of heavy construction on our street.

We had hoped to be able to work this miracle two years in a row. Unfortunately, the second (and final) round of construction will make a festival in 2010 impossible.

We are planning to bring back the Roncesvalles Polish Festival in 2011 and invite you to join us then to participate in what we call “Canada’s largest celebration of Polish culture in Toronto’s best neighbourhood.”

Dzi?kuj? bardzo (and thanks very much!)

Consulate General of Poland Hosts Reception

Sunday, August 9th, 2009

The Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Toronto once again hosted a great reception as a part of its ongoing patronage of the Roncesvalles Polish Festival.

After brief speeches from Andrew Chomentowski, Vice-chair of the RVBIA, Consul Andrzej Krężel, MPP Cheri diNovo and Tony Cauch, Chair of the RVBIA, assembled guests and dignitaries enjoyed a great evening of Polish hospitality on the beautiful Consulate grounds overlooking Lake Ontario.
